Silicon Steel Coil
Silicon Steel Coil

Silicon steel (electrical steel) is low-carbon alloy steel doped with silicon, divided into hot rolled, cold rolled non-oriented and grain-oriented grades. Controlled silicon content minimizes iron loss, hysteresis loss and eddy current loss with stable magnetic permeability and heat aging resistance. It is the core soft magnetic material for all power electromagnetic devices including transformer cores, motor stators, generators, reactors and voltage transformers.
